Starting March 2, 2024, our training sessions, limited to groups of six dogs, take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:15 am to 3:15 pm. Additionally, we offer the convenience of home lessons!
LaBARK Training Guide
Puppy Preschool:
Tailored for pups between 10 weeks and 6 months, Puppy Preschool focuses on basic commands, building a strong bond, and effective communication. We will address socialization and common behavioral issues. Cues taught include Sit, Down, Wait, Name understanding, walking nicely on a leash, Re-call, Leave It, and more.
Beginner Obedience:
For dogs aged 6 months and older, this 6-week course establishes the foundation for well-mannered family members. We will work on basic manners, impulse control, and strengthening the bond between you and your pup. Cues include Wait, walking nicely on a leash, Come When Called, Leave It, and more, reinforcing basic sit and down commands.
Intermediate Obedience:
Ideal for dogs who have completed Puppy Preschool or Beginner Obedience, this 6-week program enhances skills for real-world applications. Our trainers will introduce more distance, duration, and distractions. Cues include Heel, Stay, Place (Go to Bed), and more. Prerequisite: Puppy Preschool or Beginner Obedience.
Daycare Socialization Training: Designed for dogs in our daycare program, this training addresses specific issues for a positive socialization experience. We will cover recalling, place, leave it, dog manners, building confidence, reducing anxiety, and more.
